Managing Your Subscription

Learn how to upgrade, downgrade, cancel, and manage your SupaGuard subscription.

This guide covers everything you need to know about managing your SupaGuard subscription.

Accessing Billing Settings

  1. Log in to your SupaGuard dashboard
  2. Click Settings in the sidebar
  3. Select Billing

Here you'll find your current plan, credit usage, and subscription management options.

Upgrading Your Plan

Upgrading gives you immediate access to more credits and features.

  1. Go to Billing Settings
  2. Click Upgrade Plan
  3. Select your new plan (Startup or Scale)
  4. Choose monthly or annual billing
  5. Complete the checkout process

What happens when you upgrade:

  • Immediate access to new credit allocation
  • Prorated billing for the remainder of your current cycle
  • All existing checks and settings are preserved

Downgrading Your Plan

You can downgrade to a lower tier or the free Hacker plan at any time.

  1. Go to Billing Settings
  2. Click Manage Plan
  3. Select a lower tier
  4. Confirm the change

What happens when you downgrade:

  • Change takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
  • You keep access to your current tier's features until then
  • Extra credits carry over to your new plan
  • If downgrading to Hacker, ensure your usage fits within 1,000 runs/month

Canceling Your Subscription

To cancel your paid subscription:

  1. Go to Billing Settings
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Optionally provide feedback to help us improve
  4. Confirm cancellation

What happens when you cancel:

  • Subscription remains active until the end of your billing period
  • You'll be moved to the free Hacker plan afterward
  • Your checks and data are preserved
  • Extra credits remain available

Reactivating a Canceled Subscription

Changed your mind? You can reactivate before your subscription ends:

  1. Go to Billing Settings
  2. Click Reactivate Subscription

If already moved to Hacker, simply upgrade again using the standard process.

Updating Payment Method

To update your credit card or payment details:

  1. Go to Billing Settings
  2. Click Customer Portal or Manage Payment Methods
  3. Update your payment information in the secure portal

Switching Between Monthly and Annual

Save money by switching to annual billing:

  1. Go to Billing Settings
  2. Click Manage Plan
  3. Select your preferred billing period

Monthly to Annual: You'll be charged the annual amount immediately and begin your new annual cycle.

Annual to Monthly: Takes effect when your annual subscription renews.

Viewing Invoices

Access your billing history and download invoices:

  1. Go to Billing Settings
  2. Scroll to Invoice History
  3. Click any invoice to view or download

Billing FAQs

When am I charged?

For monthly plans, you're charged on the same date each month. For annual plans, you're charged once per year on your subscription anniversary.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and some regional payment methods.

Can I get a refund?

We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@supaguard.app if you have concerns.

Do you offer invoicing for Enterprise?

Yes, Enterprise customers can pay via PO/Wire transfer with invoice billing. Contact Sales for details.
